Fees and Deposits


We like to be 100% transparent with our fees, we don’t want them to be hidden.


All bookings are subject to a one time setup / booking fee of €48 (Fully refundable if vehicle unavailable) - this confirms your booking with us.


Out of Hours Pickup & Drop offs


If you require a vehicle outside of our opening hours (Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm) or at weekends we will be happy to accommodate you. There will be a charge of €35 per drop off or collection for this service.


Speeding / Parking Fees


If we receive a speeding / parking fine you will be charged the full amount of the fine + €34 admin fee (discounts for early payment do not apply) The fine amount will automatically be charged to the debit card that we hold on file without prior notice.


A copy of the fine will be sent to you along with proof of payment.


Card Processing Fees


From 16th March 2023 we will no longer be charging any card processing fees*, instead we will be introducing a fixed monthly subscription management fee:


Purple Runabout: €7.50

Purple Budget: €7.50

Purple Premium: €12.50


*Please note that American Express customers will be charged €12.50 per month.


Deposits


All rentals require a refundable damages deposit of:


Purple Runabout (€250.00)

Purple Budget (€500.00)

Purple Premium (€750.00)


This is taken at the beginning of the rental. Your deposit acts as your insurance excess in the event of a fault claim.


We endeavour to refund deposits with 14 business days, in some cases this can take longer. Deposits will automatically be refunded to the original payment card held on file, it is therefore important that you confirm these are the correct details to allow us to process your refund.
